Jeff Hunt
Founder,
President and CEO
Wood is in Jeff Hunt’s blood.
Growing up in Connecticut, Jeff enjoyed nothing more than to lace up a pair of
hiking boots and go trekking through the local woods. Jeff’s treks these days
take him to more exotic locales. Central America, South America, Europe,
Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Places where he can source popular
woods and lesser-known, secondary species that are harvested in environmentally,
economically and socially responsible ways. Under Jeff’s leadership, PALS has
maintained strong growth, a steadfast commitment to improving and preserving the
world’s forests and rainforests, and made significant contributions to the
survival of indigenous communities.
Mike Bloomfield
Chief Financial Officer
Mike Bloomfield joined PALS in 2001 after 20 years in the banking industry. It wasn’t long after Mike hopped on board, he says, that wood started seeping into his blood. More likely, it was already in there. As a kid, Mike loved backpacking and considered himself an environmentalist. Today, Mike enjoys being part of a company that obtains beautiful, useful resources from forests while also working to keep those forests alive.
